Namaste and welcome to my kitchen.
My name’s Kiran and I’ve been teaching Indian vegetarian cookery classes in Oxfordshire for more than 14 years. I’m also the co-founder of Holy Cow! F.C. (Food Company) – a small company run by my daughter. We make Holy Cow! sauces. We love home cooked food – it’s very different from what you find in an Indian restaurant in the UK! Everyday home cooked Indian food has delicate layers of flavour – and a little kick of heat. It’s simple, healthy food.
I want to share some of my home cooked recipes with you here on this site. It won’t all be about Holy Cow! – but I want to share some of my ideas which will teach you the basics of Indian cookery, and help you to be more creative in the kitchen (and maybe sometimes I’ll use my Holy Cow! sauces just to give you some extra inspiration!).
Thank you for coming by and do please come again.

Thanks so much for liking my post last week (Bad daughter-in-law award). Apologies it’s taken so long to check yours out – I’ve been overwhelmed by so many blogs to read and absorb! Btw, I love the concept of your blog. I visited India with work a few times and the food blew me away. It was so utterly delicious, and so unlike indian takeaways here. I love cooking asian food at home as all the spices create such delicious, fresh flavours. Can’t wait to keep tabs on your blog 🙂

This site is so inspiring! I lived in England where I started to appreciate Indian cuisine and, now that I am “stranded” in Los Angeles, without one single good Indian restaurant to be found (or that I found at least) you make me pine for Indian food. I am sure my attempts are experiments pale in comparison with the real thing. Will try some of your recipes!
Thank you so much 🙂 I’m sure you’ll be great – do let me know how you get on!

Now that Martina Franca has a (yes, just the one) small store that sells organic food, I will actually be able to delve into your delightful recipes.
